Hexonic (formerly SECESPOL) is a Polish manufacturer of heat exchangers (brazed, double-wall, gasketed and shell and tube) that has worked on the international market for about 30 years. It produces standardised brazed or assembled plate heat exchangers and tubular heat exchangers. It also makes heat exchangers to individual order for various industries - chemical, oil, power, food, pharmaceutical and others.
HEXONIC (SECESPOL) is known worldwide, as it has a whole series of subsidiaries: SECESPOL Inc., USA, SECESPOL Canada, SECESPOL Germany, SECESPOL Czech Republic, SECESPOL Spain, SECESPOL Asia. More than 500 sales representatives also operate in Poland and abroad.
Advanced industrial technologies and the company's own production equipment ensure the highest quality of its products. An experienced team of designers continuously develops and designs ever more modern and efficient equipment that meets customer requirements. We take on particularly complex tasks that are technically difficult to realise.
One of HEXONIC's most important goals is the excellent quality of the heat exchangers it makes, meeting the highest global quality standards. To this end the company has implemented a Quality Control System. Both the materials and all stages of the production process are subject to its requirements. The system complies with EN ISO 9001:2008, PN-EN ISO 3834-2:2007, and the standards, as well as Directive 97/23/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council. It also meets the highest requirements that the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the China Manufacturing License set for equipment manufacturers.
HEXONIC relies on innovation and development, as evidenced by various international awards and patents. The highest global quality standards are confirmed by certificates: ASME (U&UM), PED 2014/68/EU; EAC; China ML; 3-A, ISO 9001, ISO 3834-2.
The HEXONIC company was founded in Gdansk in 1988 by the engineer Jerzy Siemieńczuk. To this day it is a family business. Its activity relies on the knowledge and many years of experience of seasoned specialists.
In 1993 the 50,000th JAD-type heat exchanger was produced.
In 1996 the company entered the international market - it opened branches in Canada and the Czech Republic.
In 2001 production of brazed plate heat exchangers began.
In 2008 a division was established responsible for the design and production of specialised heat exchangers for industry.
In 2008 the 250,000th JAD-type heat exchanger was produced.
In 2011 production of double-wall plate heat exchangers began.
In plate heat exchangers the heat transfer surface consists of corrugated stainless steel plates. The plates are joined into a pack by vacuum brazing or assembled with gaskets and a frame:
SafePLATE double-wall heat exchangers are designed for applications with high requirements for heat transfer efficiency, where it is especially important to prevent internal leakage and mixing of the media. If the heat exchanger's tightness is breached by corrosion or a high-pressure surge, the special double-wall system prevents the media from mixing and helps to detect the leak visually more quickly.
Tubular heat exchangers are a new step in the evolution of heat exchangers. They offer significant advantages in hydraulics and heat transfer while retaining the characteristics and benefits of a traditional heat exchanger. They achieve a considerably higher heat transfer coefficient compared with standard solutions. The position of the tubes in the shell ensures efficient operation in high-flow systems (e.g. exhaust gases, hot air, low-pressure steam, etc.). New design solutions have made it possible to achieve compactness and low weight, with significant material savings.
