Control automation

Today it is practically impossible to imagine heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems without automated control. Smart building management systems (BMS) integrate, monitor and control heating, domestic hot water supply, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical systems, security, fire suppression and other building services.

Automated heating and domestic hot water systems (HVAC) are an important part of building services.

Control automation and controllers from Ouman, Danfoss, Siemens and others are used in HVAC heating applications to control heating and domestic hot water preparation systems in a way that saves energy and the time of the staff who maintain HVAC systems. Properly selected, well-matched, high-quality control automation maintains the desired temperatures in rooms or in domestic hot water systems, reduces costs and operating expenses in the long term, and ensures flawless operation of the entire heating installation.

Control automation for heating and domestic hot water (HVAC) reacts to changes in outdoor temperature and offers various options for controlling the temperature of all rooms or of individual rooms. It is already common for smart controllers to diagnose faults, which makes the whole heating system more efficient.

Modern HVAC controllers allow the operation of the entire heating substation to be managed remotely over different communication protocols: by phone, tablet or laptop.

An automated heating substation is a complex part of a heating system, designed to regulate the amount of heat energy efficiently according to the outdoor air temperature and the requirements set by users. Automated heating substations are installed in:

  • apartment buildings and multi-unit houses (townhouses), and increasingly in smart single-family homes;
  • public buildings (offices, schools, kindergartens and so on);
  • industrial and commercial buildings (offices, business premises, centres, warehouses, hangars, production areas and so on)

The advantage of an automated substation is the possibility to save up to 30 % of heat energy and heating costs. Other advantages of an automated heating substation:

  • automatic reduction of room air temperature on non-working days (in schools, clinics, administrative buildings and similar) to the temperature the user prefers;
  • automatic reduction of room air temperature at night;
  • the room air temperature preferred by the user is maintained against the set parameters (taking outdoor air temperature fluctuations into account by regulating the heat carrier temperature);
  • the heat consumption mode the user wants is ensured regardless of the heat supplier's temperature schedule;
  • protection against freezing of heating systems;
  • control of circulator pumps or switching on and control of other regulating devices outside the heating season;
  • use of telemetry systems to read parameters and to control remotely;

One of the main goals of Amegata.lt is to help heat suppliers, heating substation maintainers and engineers resolve problems and faults in heating substations quickly, by supplying the required HVAC equipment at an affordable price and in the shortest possible time in Lithuania.
We ensure prompt delivery of HVAC equipment across Lithuania through reliable partners. Today we can offer our customers products from Danfoss, Ouman, Honeywell, Siemens, TAC, Flamco, Watts and other manufacturers.
