Safety and refill valves

Automatic make-up valves and systems

Reliable automatic make-up is essential to ensure that the heating system pressure stays stable and B2B-grade equipment runs without interruption. Amegata offers a wide range - from basic valves to smart vacuum degassing stations that meet the strictest industry standards.

Professional make-up solutions and models

  • Reflex Fillcontrol: AUTO Compact (stand-alone controller), PLUS Compact (dependent on the expansion vessel) and UTA (universal solution).
  • Reflex Servitec: Servitec S (compact wall-mounted, 25 l/h), MAGCONTROL (adapted to systems with expansion vessels) and industrial Servitec 30/60/90 with vacuum degassing.
  • Other manufacturers: Flamco Fillmatic, the popular Caleffi 553 and the basic compact SYR 2128 model for smaller systems.

EN 1717 BA backflow protection

Under current regulations, the drinking water network must be protected from contamination. The valves we offer have an integrated BA-class disconnector, which prevents a hazard if backflow from the heating circuit were to enter the drinking water system. To ensure greater safety in the network, appropriate safety valves are also installed.

VDI 2035 standards and water treatment equipment

Qualified VDI 2035 water extends the longevity of systems and helps avoid warranty disputes. This standard strictly defines the parameters: total hardness (Ca+Mg) and chloride content are limited, pH > 8 is required and dissolved oxygen < 1 mg/L.

  • Reflex Filquick and Fillsoft: softening and demineralisation cartridges for direct make-up.
  • Grünbeck Desalter: professional equipment for deep water desalination.

Electrical nuances and BMS integration

The solenoid valves of make-up modules may be 220V/230V standard supply or 24V versions, supplied with battery backup power. A major B2B advantage is the integrated pulse counter function and BMS interfaces. This makes it possible to track the amount of water added precisely and to integrate the unit into the overall building management system together with pressure switches.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

  • When is it worth choosing a Servitec vacuum degassing system? Vacuum degassing (Servitec 30/60/90) is necessary in large industrial systems or where there are persistent problems with air locks.
  • How often do BA-class valves need to be tested? According to EN 1717, it is recommended to check the functionality of the BA disconnector preventively at least once a year.
