AVTB has no electronic feedback — under sudden DHW demand (shower) response may lag 30-60 s due to sensor thermal inertia. A modern alternative is electronic PID control via ECL Comfort + AMV + VS2/VF valve.

Does it need power?
No. AVTB is hydraulically driven — the sensor expands/contracts with temperature, mechanically opening/closing the valve.
How to set the temperature?
Local rules typically require ≥ 55 °C DHW for Legionella prevention. Set via the dial on the head.
Where to mount the sensor?
Into the DHW outlet pipe of the plate heat exchanger (towards the consumer). The capillary tube allows placing the sensor up to 2 m from the valve.
