Why 60 plates, not 80?
XB12L-1 uses G 1" connections — 60 plates is the hydraulic maximum for the series. Larger loads use XB37H or XB52M with larger connections.
Do I need an expansion vessel on the secondary side?
Yes. A small expansion vessel is needed on the DHW side to accommodate water expansion during heating.
