Ouman TMW-100/NTC10 solves accurate measurement on larger pipework: DN 40, DN 50, DN 65 and above, where a 50 mm probe cannot reach the flow centre. Used on: primary DH return-line measurement, gas boiler feeder line (DN 50+), primary measurement in higher-capacity substations, hotel and school heating loops. The 100 mm probe reads true stream temperature in DN 40–100 pipework when installed with a matching pocket. Delivery across the EU.

The 100 mm probe reads the flow centre in DN 40–100 pipes, but pocket depth must match pipe thickness — typical active length is 80–90 mm. For pipe DN > 100 consider a T-piece where the sensor screws into the side (perpendicular to flow). Fill the pocket with heat-transfer paste or silicone oil to cut the time constant by ~30 %.

Whenever the pipe is DN 40 or larger. In such a pipe, a 50 mm probe would read temperature near the pipe wall rather than at the flow centre — usually 2–5 °C below true. The 100 mm probe reaches deeper (through the pocket).
A standard G ½" or G ¾" pocket with 80–100 mm active length. Contact us — we will match the pocket to your pipe diameter, thread and pressure class (PN 6, PN 16, PN 25).
Standard 2-wire NTC line up to 100 m of 2×1.5 mm² cable. Shielded twisted pair for longer runs or parallel routing with power cables.
Physically — yes if the pocket allows. But a 100 mm probe in a small-diameter pipe will hit the opposite wall or protrude into the flow — inaccurate and disruptive to flow. Use TMW-50 for DN 15–32, TMW-100 for DN 40+.
