What is the V5825B stroke?

5.7 mm — a short stroke matched to Honeywell's small actuators (M6410, ML7420, ML7421). This matters when choosing actuators — other-brand units with 15 mm stroke (Danfoss AMV, Ouman M31) do not fit without an adapter.

Suitable for a potable-water DHW scheme?

The standard DZR brass body is not certified for direct potable water. In DHW schemes the valve sits on the heating (primary) side — no potable contact. For direct potable-water applications choose WRAS/DVGW-certified alternatives.

Which actuator?
