When is DN 32 enough, when is DN 40+ flanged required?

DN 32 Kvs 16 handles up to ~370 kW (Δp = 1 bar, ΔT = 20 °C). Above 370 kW — or pipe velocity above 2 m/s — step up to flanged DN 40+. In practice, DN 40+ is often chosen for lower pressure drop.

Suitable for PN 25 systems?

No. V241 is PN 16. For > 16 bar systems use Schneider flanged PN 25 alternatives.

Which actuator?

Standard Schneider M400 (heating), M800 (DHW). Alternatives: Belimo H, Siemens SAS81.03 (0–10 V), Honeywell M6410C.

Used with PICV?

No. V241 is a classical seat control valve. For integrated Δp stabilisation choose a PICV (Danfoss AB-QM, IMI TA-COMPACT-P, Belimo Energy Valve).
