FAQ
Is the impulse tube included with the AVP valve?
No. Depending on the Danfoss revision the packaging may include a short built-in nipple, but the longer capillary tube (1500 mm) is almost always ordered separately.
How to choose the tube length?
Measure from valve to measurement point on the consumer branch + 200 mm reserve. 1500 mm suits most apartment metering schematics. For longer runs Danfoss also offers a 3000 mm version.
Can a third-party tube be used?
Technically yes if it matches 6 mm × R 1/2" copper. Original Danfoss part is recommended for warranty and thread quality.
