Why does DN65 branch only Rp 1¼", not bigger?
T-Plus targets branches with flow much smaller than the main. Rp 1¼" (Kvs ≈ 25-30 m³/h) covers most user branches, measurement points, and secondary loops. For larger tap-ins, use a shutdown-and-weld tee.
Can it be installed horizontally?
Yes. Recommended orientation — branch pointing up or sideways (12 / 3 / 9 o'clock). Avoid downward (6 o'clock) orientation — sludge and deposits accumulate in the branch opening.
Glycol mixtures allowed?
Yes, up to 50 % ethylene or propylene glycol with proper inhibitors.
What maintenance is required?
Installed T-Plus needs no periodic service. Annual visual check recommended (corrosion, leak signs).
