If the controller freezes in the "open" state and 90 °C water flows uncontrolled — a signal relay or emergency stop can cut the actuator's power, and the spring returns the valve to the safe position. The key difference is the spring-return function: AMV 33 has a spring that automatically drives the valve closed on power loss (~15 s full stroke). AMV 30 stays where it is. Motor thrust (450 N), stroke (10 mm) and speed (3 s/mm) are identical.

Will the spring close the valve against system pressure?
